Paris Hilton has signed on to star in a musical thriller that is reportedly set in the year 2056. Can't we just take the time to send Paris Hilton into the future now? I think most people are sick to death of Paris. Like Paris and Opera and movies go hand in hand. Although she was decent in "House of Wax."
In this Genetic Opera film titled, Repo! the Genetic Opera, Paris will star as the bad guy's daughter. The film is about a plague that threatens mankind's survival until the expensive financing for organ transplants can take place with Paul Sorvinio starring as the organ-transplant tycoon bad guy.
Paris said, "I've been rehearsing every day—seven hours a day. We're just in the studio. We're doing dance and singing. We go shoot next month in Toronto."
Paris didn't reveal many details about the flick when she was asked. Although we do know Paris and others will sing music ranging from opera to modern rock in the movie.
Along with Paris Hilton and Paul Sorvinio, the film stars Alexa Vega.
Paris, who also played parts in Raising Helen, Bottoms Up, National Lampoon's Pledge This! and Zoolander, while also starring in her own film, 1 Night in Paris, in which after Paris claimed to have been "out of it."
The 26-year-old Hilton also is working on a new album but wouldn't say if there's a targeted release date. Last year, Paris released her first album titled Paris, and featured the top 20 single, "Stars Are Blind."
